Fire Prevention New Construction Inspection Scheduling During COVID-19 Response
Effective March 23, 2020, until further notice, the El Segundo Fire Department has modified its new construction inspection scheduling. New construction inspections will be performed only on critical projects, inspections involving a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy or a Certificate of Occupancy. If you believe you have a critical inspection, please do one of the following:
- Call Fire Marshal James Carver at (310) 524-2239. He will evaluate the inspection request. You will be advised if ESFD is able to perform the inspection.
- Request an After-Hours inspection through the City's website. Staff will respond if they available for the inspection, and if so, the date and time that is available.
Please let us know if you have any questions or need any additional information. Also, keep practicing social distancing and “Stay at Home”
